Default Hero E/Mo ER prot spammer viable?

Was wondering if it worked on a hero, as they have the bad tendency of screwing up good builds.

Searched and all of that but I mostly saw "bad performance on ER with air spikes/fire nukes"; I'd like to know about going ER + healing or protting.

Where did you see about them having bad performance with air/fire builds? I tried out a Rodgort spammer with no energy management other than Fire Attunement, ER, and Aura of Restoration and it worked fine.

Generally, the heros tend to lose a ton of energy when it's not up, but it's quickly regained when ER comes back up. The main problem is that you sometimes have to micro it to stop them from using 5 energy spells if they run out of energy, but that isn't too hard. You also might want a maintained enchantment if they don't self-cast enchantments enough.

I'm no good with the Tags, but I've got Zhed at 3+1 Air, 12 Prot and 12+1+1 Energy Storage with a Build that includes: Glyph of Swiftness, Ether Renewal, Reversal of Fortune, Protective Spirit, Spirit Bond, Aegis, Shield Guardian and Aura of Restoration (As a Second Enchant = At least 8 Energy Every Cast.) I Rarely have to Micro Swiftness->Renewal although he does occaisonally mess it up.

The Build Lacks Condition and Hex Removal but for pure Protection it is absolutely amazing and is a good compliment to the builds I run.

they cant mess up ether renewal at all. its to amazing. just make sure its returning 4 energy per enchant and if you want extra fun give them zealot's fire

e/r prot spammer just doesnt work as well as the n/mo prot in my opinion

ER E/Mo's are great, just might require a tad bit of micro'ing when ER goes down and they continue spamming stuff before recasting it. Their elite is takin up, but they can have Prot Spirit/Spirit/Bond/Shield Guardian all on the same bar with little trouble at all.

N/Mo has it's elite open, but you still gotta be careful that you don't go overkill with 10e skills.
